How to find the right size eyewear?

The easiest and fastest way to find the right size glasses for you is to use your current glasses as a benchmark. Once you know the size of your current glasses, you have a frame of reference for a new pair of glasses. Temple size is really not important except in very special cases.

How to Submit a Prescription for Eyeglasses or contact lenses?

Provide your spectacle/contact lenses prescription, base curve, colors and other details at “Note for Seller” box after checking out. Alternatively, you may provide your prescription and other contact lens details by dropping us an email to or whatsapp to +65 80105251. Please quote your order number.

Do I need a prescription to place an order for spectacles?

Yes. We require a valid prescription for every order.  By ordering spectacle from MyStyle Optique, you confirm that you have a valid prescription as prescribed by your Optometrist/Optician. It is important to check your eyes once every year.

Do I need a prescription to place an order for contact lenses?

Yes. We require a valid prescription for every order.  By ordering contact lenses from MyStyle Optique, you confirm that you have a valid prescription and are purchasing contact lenses suitable for you as prescribed by your Optometrist. It is important to check your eyes once every year.

How long does it take for my order to ship?

Delivery within 4-7 working days upon order confirmed. All orders must have and only start to ship only when a valid prescription is provided. We will provide all the help you need to help you need to get your order quicker.


All orders for prescription eyeglasses are final. Once an order has been placed, they cannot be amended or cancelled. How to Read My Contact Lens Prescription?

You can find your prescription on your contact lens box or on the blister packs that contain your contact lenses.  Please note that spectacle prescription is different from contact lens prescription.

What does each prescription figure mean?

Base Curve (BC): The base curve determines what type of fit is required for the lens to meet the curve of your eye; this is usually written in millimeters or sometimes with the words: flat, median or steep. Diameter (DIA): The diameter of the contact lens is also written in millimetres and determines the width that best fits your eye. Power/Sphere (PWR/SPH): This figure shows whether you are long or short-sighted and how much correction your eyes require. If you are long-sighted your figure will begin with a + (plus sign) and if you are short-sighted it will begin with a – (minus sign). This will be followed by a number that goes up from 0 in measures of 0.25 dioptres, the higher the number the stronger the visual correction needed (this value can be displayed on the box as "PWR" or "D"). * Prescription Figures for Astigmatism The below figures are only displayed on contact lens prescriptions where there is a need for astigmatism correction. Cylinder (CYL): The cylinder will always be a minus number that increases in measures of 0.25. Much like the power/sphere figure that is shown on all standard prescriptions, the cylinder denotes the extra visual requirements needed for astigmatism and how severe the astigmatism is. Axis (AX): Astigmatism is caused by the irregular curvature of the eye; the axis is a figure which determines the angle of the correction needed in order to see clearly. The Axis is always a number between 0 and 180 degrees. * Prescription Figures for Presbyopia The below figures are only displayed on contact lens prescriptions where there is a need for presbyopia/multifocal correction. Addition (ADD): If you suffer from presbyopia it affects your near vision, the Addition figure determines what level of correction you need to be able to see clearly at a close distance. This is a number between 0.50 and 3.00, some contact lens brands refer to this as a high, medium or low. Dominant: If you wear multifocal contact lenses or bifocal contact lenses, the correction is determined by a dominant and non-dominant eye, this is the dominant figure usually marked with a “D” and “N” to express which eye is which.

How to measure the frame size?

There are 2 ways to obtain these measurements.

Eyeglass frames are measured in ‘millimeters.

How do I read a spectacle prescription? What do the numbers on the prescription mean? 

Your prescription may include a SPH, CYL, Axis, ADD and Pupillary Distance (PD). If your prescription does not include one of those it simply means that you do not require that corrective power. There is a separate prescription for your right eye, and for your left eye. OD - Right Eye OS - Left Eye (SPH) - Sphere indicates the amount of lens power prescribed for nearsightedness (myopia) or farsightedness (hyperopia). Myopia is in minus (-) sign and hyperopia is in a plus (+) sign. (CYL) & AXIS - A Cylinder (CYL) and Axis is required to correct Astigmatism. Both parameters will be required together. ADD or NV - This provides power for reading, progressive and bifocal lenses.  (PD) – Pupillary Distance is the distance between the centre of one pupil (the central black dot of your eye) to the centre of the other pupil, measured in millimeters.

We offer full refunds for defective items.  You can exchange or return any item purchased that has been damaged in-transit or with manufacturing defects within 7 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a refund, > You should have the receipt or proof of purchase for your product. > Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. > The product must be returned in original packaging (with brand’s/manufacturer's box, user manual, warranty card and all the accessories within)(if applicable)  Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
